QuixVPN offers two access modes to ensure flexibility and privacy:

• Guest Mode (Anonymous Access): Core VPN functionality, including secure connections and server access, is available without requiring registration or personal information. No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected in Guest Mode.
• Account-Based Access: For features like multi-device management and future enhancements, you may optionally create an account using Gmail or Apple ID. When you register, we collect only your email address and username.

2. Information We Collect

QuixVPN adheres to a strict minimal data collection policy, ensuring only necessary information is collected to operate and improve our services.

• Guest Mode:
  • Connection timestamps, bandwidth usage, and server locations to monitor performance.
  • User preferences, such as selected servers or settings, are saved locally on the device for a smoother experience.
  • All data is anonymized and used solely for operational purposes.
• Account-Based Access:
  • Email address (if provided during registration).
  • User preferences, including selected server settings and configurations, may be saved to enhance your account experience.
  • Device ID to manage connection limits.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide secure VPN connections and maintain server performance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and improve our services.
• Ensure connection limits are enforced (if registered).

4. No-Logs Policy

QuixVPN operates under a strict no-logs policy:

• We do not log or store browsing activity, DNS queries, IP addresses, or traffic data.
• Any session-related data, such as timestamps or bandwidth usage, is discarded after the session ends.

5. Data Protection and Security

• Encryption: All VPN connections use AES-256 encryption, a global standard for securing data.
• RAM-Only Servers: All servers operate on RAM-only technology, ensuring no data is retained after sessions.
• Daily Server Resets: Servers are automatically restarted at 00:00 UTC to clear any remaining session data.

6. Account Deletion

Registered users can delete their accounts at any time. Once an account deletion request is processed:

• All associated personal data, including email and usage information, will be permanently erased from our systems.
• Guest users can simply stop using the app, as no personal data is associated with their usage.

7. Children’s Privacy

QuixVPN services are not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or store information from children. Parents and guardians are encouraged to monitor their children’s online activities.

8. How We Handle Advertising and Your VPN Connection

When you open or return to the QuixVPN app while connected to the VPN, your connection will briefly disconnect to allow ad requests to originate from your unmasked IP address. During this short period, your internet traffic won’t be routed through the VPN, exposing your public IP to ad networks, though QuixVPN doesn’t collect or store your IP but ad networks will collect and will treat it according to their policy. The VPN automatically reconnects immediately after the ad is dismissed, restoring secure traffic routing.

9. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Users will be notified of significant changes via the app.
